Tortosa, a two-thousand-year-old city, is the result of the progression of the cultures that have inhabited it since all of them have left their mark. Presided over by the Zuda castle, Tortosa has a beautiful old town where you should let yourself get lost. Unknown and surprising, the best way to get to know it is on foot, and this is exactly what we will do.

The privileged geographical position of Tortosa and the richness of the soils of the valleys bathed by the waters of the Ebro gave the city an economic advantage in commercial transactions compared to other Mediterranean cultures.

Influenced by Iberians, Romans, Visigoths, and Saracens and rich in cultural elements of the Jewish, Arab, and Christian communities, Tortosa is declared a historical and artistic heritage. Some of its buildings, such as the castle of La Souda, are national monuments. Tortosa contains important examples of architecture from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, and Modernism.

Today, with our help, you will gradually become familiar with the most important attractions of Tortosa, the city of three cultures. Among them are the Tortosa Cathedral and the La Suda Castle. We will also visit the Tortosa Museum and the Renaissance Interpretation Center. A mandatory part of the program is lunch at the best restaurant in the city and watching the sunset in the Jardínes del Príncipe.
