Welcome to an exciting adventure in the heart of nature and culture.
We will immerse ourselves in the incredible Ebro Delta Natural Park environment, where there are sandy beaches, endless rice fields and the majestic Ebro River.

Visit the Franciscan Convent of San Salvador de Horta, founded by the Templar Order in the 12th century. Ultimately, we will learn about the winemaking process by tasting it and pairing it with oils in an organic EVOO oil mill.

The ascent to the Foradada in La Rápita will not leave you indifferent, not only for the spectacular panoramic view of the Ebro Delta, Els Ports, and Cardó but also for the lush forest, the Font del Burgar, the newts, and the ruins of Mata-redone. It is an intermediate-level walk.

At one of its highest points, Mont Caro, exciting activities and traditional and market cuisine await us. It is made with top-quality ingredients in a natural and comfortable environment at the Dels Ports restaurant.

The Ebro Lands are rich in varied gastronomy. We will visit one of its regions, Terra Alta, whose best fruits are oil and wine. After a walking tour of Horta’s old town, we’ll taste local wines at a winery and head to lunch. We will sample seven dishes flavoured with local oils.

Tortosa, a two-thousand-year-old city, is the result of the progression of the cultures that have inhabited it since all of them have left their mark. Presided over by the Zuda castle, Tortosa has a beautiful old town where you should let yourself get lost. Unknown and surprising, the best way to get to know it is on foot, and this is exactly what we will do.

Picasso visited Horta de Sant Joan twice. Here, he painted more than 30 paintings, making him the greatest artist of the 20th century and creator of cubism. Today, our day will be dedicated to an itinerary through the Picasso spaces, including a visit to the Picasso Center. This will be complemented by a “Clotxa” lunch (typical food of the time) with “Picasso de Les Vinyes del Convent” wine.
